Welcome to the annual Chempro ENDO-END Fun Run!
Situated around Oxenford's picturesque Regatta Waters Lake, the Chempro Endo-End Fun Run is an annual fundraiser to awareness and funds for Endometriosis Australia. Damian Leeding Memorial Park was selected due to the relatively easy and flat loop route, besides one of the more picturesque park's on the Northern Gold Coast.
The Endo-End replaces the Chempro NGC Dash event that ran for six year's at the park. This new event will take place in mid-March each year to coincide with Endemetriosis Awareness month. Endometriosis affects1 in 9 women, with over 830,000 Australian women suffering from the disease. For more information, head to the Endometriosis Australia website
The Endo-End name is aplay on words of an end to end race which is what this event route is, plus a call to raise money to try and End 'Endo' once and for all. The event logo is predominantly yellow to match the International colour of yellow for Endometriosis awareness, while the annual event medals and Finishers shirts will have a heavy yellow influence. This event logo aims to provide a sporty element by showing that women are sporty warriors as well.
A big thank you once again to Major Event Sponsor, Chempro Chemists - they always willingly support community events.
I have aimed to make this the most affordable Half Marathon in Queensland.
